January has been anything but quiet for us. Lots of positive feedback about the changes we’ve made thus far to our restaurant, but we are only just getting started! Upstairs – at the Pier is steadily being transformed into a modern space that blends perfectly into the stunning, panoramic views of Cardigan Bay.
Pier Brasserie, for all its charm, was a tad dated, so we decided it was time for an upgrade and a new name. Our interior designer aims to bring colours of the sea into the restaurant by using deep turquoises, rustic prints and textured wallpaper with flecks of gold to mirror the sun bouncing off the waves. Still to come are curved banquettes, full-length windows, new lighting, and green walls. Local contractor Superior Finish is helping Jane piece everything together.
Our new head chef Roscoe is working hard on improving the food offer, developing a light lunchtime menu, and another for bigger dinner appetites: both will hopefully deliver food worth returning for.
